Wigalert Refund & Returns Policy

This Refund & Returns Policy is designed specifically for the wig, alternative hair, and personal-use hair product industry. Due to hygiene, customization, and personal-use considerations, all sales are subject to the terms below. By placing an order with Wigalert, you agree to this policy in full.
1. Final Sale & Hygiene Disclaimer
• Wigs, hairpieces, toppers, extensions, and hair accessories are personal-use and hygiene-sensitive products.
• For health and safety reasons, all wigs and hair products are final sale unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Items that have been worn, tried on without protective liners, altered, styled, cut, colored, brushed, or exposed to odors (including perfume, smoke, or cooking smells) are not eligible for return or refund.
• Wigalert reserves the sole right to determine the condition and eligibility of any returned item.
2. No Refunds for Preference or Fit Issues
Refunds or returns will not be issued for:
• Change of mind
• Color dissatisfaction or shade variance
• Cap construction preference
• Density, length, curl pattern, or style preference
• Fit, tightness, or comfort issues
• Lack of resemblance to photos, models, or marketing images
• Personal dissatisfaction after delivery
Product images are for reference only. Minor variations are normal and expected.
3. Custom, Human Hair & Special Orders
• Custom wigs, made-to-order units, human hair wigs, special orders, and clearance items are strictly final sale.
• Orders placed specifically at the customer’s request (including size, color, density, lace type, or customization) are non-refundable and non-returnable.
4. Returns (If Explicitly Authorized)
In rare cases where a return is authorized by Wigalert:
• Authorization must be obtained in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
• The item must be unworn, unaltered, and in original condition, including all tags, packaging, and protective liners.
• Returns must be shipped back within 5 business days of authorization.
• Unauthorized returns will be refused or discarded.
• Wigalert reserves the right to charge a restocking and sanitation fee.
5. Store Credit (At Wigalert’s Discretion)
• Store credit may be offered at Wigalert’s sole discretion, not as an entitlement.
• Store credit does not expire and is non-transferable.
• Shipping fees are not credited.
6. Shipping Fees & Delivery Outcomes
• Shipping fees are non-refundable.
• Delayed shipments, missed delivery dates, customs holds, or carrier issues do not qualify for refunds or returns.
• Orders shipped with non-tracked shipping options are considered fulfilled once dispatched.
• Shipping-related issues are governed exclusively by Wigalert’s Shipping Policy.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Items
• Claims for damaged or incorrect items must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery.
• Claims must include clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label.
• Wigalert may require the item to be returned for inspection.
• Replacement or resolution is at Wigalert’s discretion.
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
• Initiating a chargeback does not override this policy.
• Evidence of delivery, condition, policy acceptance, and product description will be submitted in dispute cases.
• Abuse of refunds or chargebacks may result in account suspension or refusal of future service.
9. Refused, Unclaimed, or Returned-to-Sender Orders
• Orders refused at delivery or returned due to customs fees, failed delivery attempts, or customer unavailability are not eligible for refunds.
• Reshipping fees apply if re-delivery is requested.
10. Right to Refuse Service
Wigalert reserves the right to refuse service, cancel future orders, or block customers who abuse returns, refunds, or disputes.
11. Policy Acceptance
By placing an order with Wigalert, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Returns Policy in full.
